Hi, I've been playing a bit in this server and wanted to share some things I've noticed about the events :
CTF :
- Add a rule that makes the flag holder lose their flag after 90 seconds if they don't manage to score. Time and time again, I see all of the 3 teams get the others' flag and nobody can either return it or score the point cause the people with the flag just go to the very end of their spawn. Good luck killing the flag holder with all those archers and mages who use next target.
- I would also suggest adding bigger maps with bigger distances between each flag spawn, as there is that one castle map which makes it impossible for other classes to survive. Archers have such huge range and they can just target whoever and shoot everyone in the spawn while being somewhat-safe in their own spawn.
Other PvP events :
- Add some sort of fun reward for attending those events, doesn't have to be monetary gain rewards, what about a chance of getting colour title, a hat or a costume, or even a time-limited weapon skin.
- Make the events longer, or make them happen more often. 1h of wait only to get an event thats over in 3 minutes in a PvP server is dissapointing to say the least.
- Add "Tag" event, where everyone would spawn in a big map (antharas spot for example) transformed into pigs with very short-attack range. One of those pigs would be the one who is supposed to "catch" others by attacking, turning them into "catchers" too, and the goal would be to catch as many people as possible. Or something like that, just an idea of an event that's not just geared people killing noobs and claiming points.
- King of the hill event. Divide the player count into 2 teams, Team A vs Team B. Players spawn in a queue. Only one player from each team is allowed to PVP as others have the "raid curse" debuff on them until its their turn. Team A player kills the first player from team B, and the second player from team B gets cleansed from the debuff and pvp continues. And it goes like that until the last player alive. The last player from the team earns the win for the whole team.
